State Department Vice-Premier Zeng Pei Yan Inspected Tobacco Industry Production Operation Management System
July, 18 2006 accompanied by a group from the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration, the commissioner of the China Communist Party Central Committee, the vice-premier Zeng Pei Yan visited the Beijing Tobacco Distribution Center. They viewed the running situation of the tobacco industry production operation and management system, and listened to the report about the system construction and running situation of State Tobacco Monopoly Administration Implementation Office of the tobacco industry production operation and management system project. Mr. Zen expressed agreement with the system construction and running effect.
Through the public biding, Chinasoft International Information Technology Ltd won the bid and was selected as the overall integration dealer of the tobacco industry production operation management system. The core content of the systems construction is to fulfill the material object distribution tracing of the tobacco industry finished products. The system construction will promote three flow in one that are the tobacco industries capital flow, information flow, and distribution flow. And it will provide fundamental methods for tobacco industry production operation and management, and system innovation.
The main content of the project first phase is to fulfill material object tracing to pieces of cigarette through printing code on them when they are taken off assembly line. Also, scanning the code when it has left the factory and when the goods have arrived. Chinasoft International Information Technology Ltd has about 600 employees in all for the project in the peak period of the first phrase. The project last for two and a half years. It relates to all tobacco industry enterprise functions, totalling 103 manufacturers, 33 provincial bureaus, 350 business subsidiary companies, and 1015 warehouses. The system has already past the check and acceptance of the state tobacco monopoly administration in Mar. 28th 2006.
At the present the 2nd construction phase of the project has already started. |
