Pujiang County OpenHarmony Smart City Project (Transportation Pilot)

China's First County-Level OpenHarmony Full-Domain Application Demonstration

Project Background

Building China's first county-level OpenHarmony full-domain application demonstration: leveraging the OpenHarmony (Jinhua) Application Innovation Demonstration Center as a vehicle to build a four-in-one system of 'technology base + scenario validation + ecosystem cultivation + talent development'. Smart traffic lights are linked with lamppost screens; the continuous downhill section of Provincial Highway S219 has been smartly upgraded; and a holographic perception and digital twin platform plus an integrated overload-control intelligent agent are in place.

Solution

  • Digital-intelligent upgrade of full-domain traffic governance: on the continuous downhill section of the provincial highway, precise vehicle trajectory tracking, second-level traffic incident identification, and advance safety-risk warnings have been achieved.
  • Preliminary industrial ecosystem aggregation: 12 categories of standardized products including smart poles and smart locks have been incubated, attracting 32 ecosystem enterprises to set up operations in Pujiang.
  • Policy system support: ten measures to support and promote OpenHarmony ecosystem development have been issued, and more than 20 enterprises signed strategic ecosystem cooperation agreements on site.
  • Selected as a 2026 OpenHarmony Leading Commercial Practice Case.

Customer Testimonial

Pujiang's development is inseparable from the strong empowerment of OpenHarmony. Our county has preliminarily built a citywide IoT foundation for the smart city covering industry, healthcare, transportation, and other domains, advancing the comprehensive application of OpenHarmony at the county level.
